Our lunch on Saturday, which consisted of pizza leftovers, tall can chelada and Guinness float. Yes, that's beer & vanilla ice cream. I tasted it & didn't really like it but G did.

Got my hands on a pair of black saltwater sandals I've been lusting over. I still want them in white & pink too, though.

Friday night my sisters came over with Wii Sports Resort. Everybody beat my scores :(

Mister & I got a little tipsy and had a silly photoshoot in the bathroom.

He also likes to take photos of himself with my phone. Ha.

Sunday morning I was craving fruit so bad; so mister ran out to Trader Joe's and came back with apples, strawberries, mango + vanilla yogurt. Yum yum! {my vintage canisters I ordered from Etsy finally came in and make an appearance in the background there}.

The rest of the weekend was spent napping in our glorious cloud aka bed, making budgets/to-do lists; cleaning & organizing in preparation for Chelsea's visit this weekend for Renegade & adventures. Fun week ahead! How was your weekend?

Friday evening Ashlee hosted Crafts & Cocktails where we made darling little key holders fashioned out of wood and paper|fabric whilst sipping on a concoction somewhat resembling a raspberry mojito. The project was off to a rough start but I think they turned out pretty cute.

Saturday morning the mister & I got up and had breakfast on our front porch. I tried out a breakfast casserole recipe via Trader Joe's of course. It was so good! And I got to use my new Pyrex to boot.

Mmm-imosas.

The neighbor's dog which makes a background cameo in a most of the photos, ha.

Later that afternoon we packed up our camping gear and trekked up the hill towards Apple Hill with Glenn's dad for an overnight bbq|bonfire get-together with some of their friends. The couple who hosted had a BEAUTIFUL 11-acre home. It was also 10 degrees cooler which was nice, given the fact that Sacramento reached 104 F yesterday -_-

This was our home away from home.

Good morning LOL.

I was having way too much fun the evening before to snap photos but these are the remnants of an epic bonfire which was so huge you couldn't even stand near it, really. Too hot!

This was by far, the best part of the trip. Why? Because people actually sat in the claw and Rich {the guy who owned the place} manuevered it like a carnival ride. Srsly, not kidding. We put on dirt bike helmets and got spun around in there. Illegal? Perhaps. Totally awesome? You betcha.

The next morning after most of the other guests had departed, Rich & Katie made us all breakfast & we lounged around for a bit and enjoyed the peace & quiet of the woods.

I found a hammock and took several cat naps on it. I also decided I NEED my own hammock at home.

Mister ended up joining me and so did Rich & Katie's dog, Lulu.

Sunday we relaxed from the fun-filled night before and tried to beat the heat by staying inside as much as possible.

We even ordered pizza in order to avoid cooking on a hot stove & had accompanying beverages.

We also got my new bike all fixed up & ready to go! All I need is the perfect wooden basket which I plan on hunting around for this week.

The night Heather & Dan flew in we all wined & dined at my favorite local restaurant, Tuli Bistro. It also happens to be where my best friend Shawni works as a chef. We ate SO MUCH amazing food.

I have forever been trying to get a really good shot of the teal in my hair. It's crazy because it's so noticeable in person but photos do not do it justice. Grr. You can kiiiinda see it a bit here in my bangs and ends. I love it so much. I'm a peacock!

One of my best friends Kayte Faye who currently resides in Seattle, scored me this vintage Smith-Corona typewriter in mint condition. I.am.in.love. I need to sit down and learn how to operate it correctly so I can type out sweet letters to my over-seas penpal, Naomi.

Another dear friend of mine, Elise, came upon this beautiful assortment of vintage train|suitcases from an estate sale & so generously donated to me. There is even a perfect little gray suitcase! Aren't my friends just the sweetest? I'm a lucky girl.

The other day I helped my best friend Shawni re-organize her bedroom and couldn't help but envy her bedspread. Darling, isn't it? Reminds me of kiwi fruit.

This one clearly isn't a Hipstamatic print however it's still a photo from my phone that made me smile. Mister sent it to me yesterday; it's the motto we've adopted for ourselves & our relationship, "Love the one you're with" to which he added, "Loving the one I'm with" {excuse the iPhone auto-correct typo} ♥

This Saturday we attended Glenn's cousin's wedding and the whole thing was just really beautiful. It makes me excited for my special day, which, I don't wanna jinx it but we've been talking about it a LOT lately. I've been obsessed with anything wedding related and I think it's safe to say I have wedding fever. During the reception they did a dance where all the married couples went on and got eliminated one by one based on how many years you've been married. Glenn's grandparents were the last couple remaining, at just over 60 years of marriage together. It was so special to watch; I cried. I'm such a girl. Here's some photos of that fun day;

Glenn looked SO handsome in his tie {we had to watch a YouTube tutorial on how to put it on hahah} and dress shirt. I love getting all fancy.

The wedding was a Tiffany's theme and the place settings were just adorable. The little boxes were filled with chocolate!
