I feel so thankful & blessed to have a solid group of girlfriends in my life. Every Monday night a bunch of us get together for "Girls Night" for the latest episode of Gossip Girl, bottomless sangria, Just Dance on the Wii & good ol', healthy girl bonding time. And yes, that is Carlos Rossi sangria--official sponsor of Girls Night ;)

Over the weekend we also celebrated Iris' birthday which was a complete blast! Shawni set up a photo booth in her spare room at the party & we all got a little silly snapping photos of the festivities.

With the constant business of everyone's lives & relationships, I think it's so important to take some time for your selfsanity & just hang out with the girls. I don't know what I'd do without these lovely ladies, half the time. Do you have any special traditions with your best friends?

First off, late last night my sweet friend Moorea unveiled the latest line in her gorgeous jewelry collection: Studded leather bracelets. They're all sorts of amazing on their own but that't not all. She named each one after a different blogger...one of which is me! SO rad and made me feel special times a million. As you can see I'm in great company with some other very lovely ladies.

Next, I wanted to share my talented friends Jack and White's offical music video for their single, Double Trouble. It was directed by Brooke's BFF and Girls With Glasses co-star, Summer Bellesa. I want every single article of Brooke's clothing! Such a fun video/song.

Saturday was the much anticipated block party we hosted with some of our very best friends and neighbors. We had a total blast, despite the scorching weather that day.

My neighbor BK is always setting up epic photo booths for our parties and this time was no different. We used my spare bedroom/office for the occasion. Here's a few of my favourites from the day {click to enlarge}.

Shortly after reading my hyper-joyful tweet, my crafty friend Vanessa texted me asking if I'd be interested in having her design a custom Kindle case for me. Of course I said yes! That weekend she sent me various fabric samples of cupcakes {of course} to choose from & by Monday I had the cutest Kindle case smothered in cupcakes. I am in love.

Today I'm heading into the city with my best girls Shawni, Ashley, Iris & Katie to check out Holiday Renegade SF & support my sweet friend Chelsea who attended Renegade with me this past summer and is now selling her own handmade goodies there today. Rumor has it we also get to see the ever-lovely Vivianna, gal pals Shereen & Amanda & Mr. Chemistry of Cool himself. It's going to be such a fun day!

My best friend Ashley from Plumeria Avenue was in need of a blog makeover & so this morning I worked on a little special something for her {click image to view live}.

I'm slowly getting the hang of Blogger templates and code. I'm no expert but I think I did a pretty good job of executing the design on this one. If you couldn't already tell, I sort of have a crush on white space.

The boy and I have started watching HBO's newest series, Boardwalk Empire & aside from it being an AMAZING show, it also reaffirms the fact that I was born in the wrong decade. The fashion alone makes me want to time travel back to the 1920's.

I especially love the glam headbands, use of rhinestones & baubles and drop-waists on skirts/dresses. Can you say va-va-voom?

I also couldn't help but think of my lovely friends Hannah & Ashley who did a 1920's inspired photo shoot for Hannah's fashion designs. Aren't they pretty?
