Um, can somebody please explain to me where the heck Septemberthis whole year went? Srsly. Insane. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining; Autumn is my favourite part of the year. The weather is gorgeous, fall fashion is underway & the holidays are right around the corner. Love, love love.

This month I have a little list of goals & things I'd like to accomplish:

Bedroom Overhaul Although there are quite a few things I have in mind for our nest, re-doing the bedroom is #1 on my list. Ever since swapping the master bedroom and home office, I've poured a lot of my energy into the office space which is thankfully mostly complete, however have totally neglected the bedroom. Its literally just the bed, one dresser, a nightstand and a whole lot of mess. It's driving me crazy! I've been collecting bits & pieces of inspiration & I think I'm just going to keep it simple with lots of white and maybe one accent colour or pattern. I'm pretty excited to get started.

Say "No" More This one is a little tough for me. I tend to commit to a lot of things and take on endless projects, which in the end often leaves me feeling overwhelmed and reduces me to a puddle of tears. Obviously this isn't really conducive to a healthy balance. Saying "no" is okay & it isn't being rude, it's saying "yes" to my sanity. I think overall it will really help me focus on accomplishing what I need to do more efficiently.

Go Adventuring Lately I have been so busy with both on & offline stuff that I've sort of fallen into the same daily routine of hitting snooze > going to work > coming home > eating {badly} > freelance/blogging/email > staying up way too late > repeat. SO not okay! I need to incorporate more things involving getting out of the house to break up my days, even if its just a little mini vacation on the weekends to a campground or amusement park {Fright Fest, anyone?}

They may be small goals to everyone else but to me they aim to make a big difference. Wish me luck! What are you some of your goals for October?
