Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner
Dirty Dancing is one of my all-time favorite movies and after watching it last night, I was inspired to combine my love for film + fashion and create a style set paying homage to the tale based on Jennifer Grey’s classic character, “Baby.” I love how clean nautical themes are woven into delicate vintage tones creating a perfect stylistic harmony. I think spending a summer at Kellerman’s sounds pretty ideal, no?

LOVE Dirty Dancing… and I loved that scene in Crazy, Stupid Love.
Love love love! I always think about how I watched the movie so many times growing up, but there were SO many things about it I totally didn’t understand until I watched again when I was older.
That happens to me ALL the time!
I just saw Dirty Dancing all the way through for the first time a few months ago. (I know…how did I make it this far in life without seeing it?!?) I absolutely loved it! That dress you picked out is fantastic! Totally something Baby would wear!
Also, Crazy, Stupid, Love is amazing. And well…Ryan Gosling, of course! :)

Dirty Dancing was my first R rated movie! Love, love, love it!! And Crazy Stupid Love was a pretty great movie too. Very fun. xxoo
I was just watching this the other night! I was admiring her clothing as well. LOVE the outfit where she is wearing her cut off jean shorts, and the white blouse tied up on her waist. So incredible classic and adorable. Now I want to go watch again!

Ooh, great style board inspiration! That movie has such funny but awesome style, made in the 80′s but supposed to look like the 60′s but it totally doesn’t–but it still looks great to us!
