Last month I talked about Glenn and I's decision to join our creative forces and open up a his & her's design studio. After weeks of working on it we're so excited to announce that our website is up! It's a simple v1.0 site right now while we build our portolio. Eventually once we launch our current client projects we'll build out a full site with more navigation/links, etc.
My favorite part are the videos. We knew we wanted to somehow incorporate them & so in a burst of inspiration I constructed little cardboard pizza and cupcake props. I crack up every time Glenn *eats* his haha.
Fellow design nerds will also appreciate the behind-the-scenes work that went into this. Glenn is so smart when it comes code & he did everything he could to ensure the functionality of the site is at its best. For example, we are using responsive web design; when you resize your browser window everything moves and resizes to adjust to the space. Neat, huh? We also had fun designing the fav icons to go along with the site. Did you know you can add websites to your iPhone home screen? It's super convenient. And how rad is that pizza cupcake with a bite taken out of it?
We're both so happy and excited about this chapter of our careers and relationship. The success of PizzaCupcakes is one step closer to achieving my goal of fleeing the cubicle once and for all. Thanks for letting us share it with you!
