…sort of ;)
Over the weekend, Glenn + I modeled a faux-wedding for our dear friend Melissa‘s photography portfolio. Some of you may have fallen victim to our dirty trick on Instagram where I posted a caption-less photo from the shoot. My mother nearly had a heart attack and called me right away to make sure we hadn’t eloped! She’d kill me for sure. It was definitely a fun experience and I’d be lying if I said these didn’t get me just a little excited for my future wedding day, some day.
ps; in case you are wondering, my gypsy crown is by Moorea Seal and my dress is from ASOS.
You guys remember Scribe? Well, I grabbed the girls and we ventured out wine tasting for the day. We got there and were greeted by my best guy friend {who works there}. We spread out blankets, snacked on a tasting plate, explored the Hacienda on the property and drank delicious vino, of course! I can’t wait to go back; it was the perfect day.
I’m finally getting around to posting these photos from a couple weeks ago when Glenn & I met up with his cousin Drew (+ the pups of course) up in Auburn to hike Steven’s Trail. It was 4.5 miles down to the river…and a very challenging 4.5 miles back up. Phew, let me tell ya. I thought I was going to die during the last mile. I literally was going a snail’s pace on the last bit and damn-near collapsed on top of Glenn’s truck when we reached the top. Out of shape, much? I guess that just means I need to hike more often, which is fine by me because as you can see, it was absolutely beautiful. Fuh-reeeezing, but beautiful. We’re thinking it’d be fun to grab a group of friends and explore out there again.
We took Walter and his best friends {Glenn’s parents’ dogs} on a walk through a clearing the other day just before sundown. As you can tell by their faces they absolutely loved it. The area was SO pretty; Glenn knew it well since he used to paintball with all of his buddies out there when he was younger. I know right, what a nerd ;) The sunset in the last photo was taken on his parents’ street, right near the train yard. We were already home when I decided to run back and snap the photo with my phone. Does that ever happen to anyone, where you’re so inspired by the visual that you HAVE to go back and take the photo? It’s been happening to me a lot lately. I’ll try to share more of my must-captures, around here.
