I'm playing catch up this week since last week I was too sick to take photos. I'm quite fond of this set; hope you enjoy!

F is for Flower. I love the little honeybee who cameos in the shot.

G is for Groomed. Little man took a trip to get a much needed bath & haircut. They brushed his little teefs too & he decided to show them off.

The Alphabet Project is a 26 week adventure in photography, showcasing lovely representations of each letter.

Last week you may recall my angst at my camera being broken. Well luckily my boyfriend's dad is the sweetest man in the world and knew that since my camera broke & both G & I have been lusting for a nice camera, he got us an early Christmas present by gifting us a Nikon D50 complete with an awesome wide angle lens. We are in love.

We have been playing with it since yesterday & getting familiar with all the bells & whistles. Glenn took this shot of our little Walter;

I've also been dying to share my latest favorite thrifting find--a vintage floral table cloth.

I could not believe it when I saw it; it's the perfect pattern that I'd been thinking of and matches our dining set perfectly. The kitchen is slowly becoming my favorite part of the house. Who'da thunk? I think the table cloth used to go to an outdoor patio set of sorts because it has a center cut-out for what I assume is a canopy. Flowers and a vase are already in the works to remedy that little problem.

I'm thinking of enrolling in some sort of beginner's photography course online or elsewhere, to assist in getting comfortable with all the camera settings. If any Nikon owners out there have any tips and/or suggestions I'd be happy to hear them!

When mom & dad are at work Walter goes to puppy jail aka his crate. Don't let the sad look fool you, he actually really loves his crate its like his own little man cave. Sometimes when we're in a different room in the house we go to look for him and there he is, napping in the crate.

Still no haircut for little man yet. At this rate we'll have to change his name to Mufasa.

Over the weekend while visiting a friends' house, Jenn suggested we give Walter a bath {and a mohawk} in their kitchen sink. It was pretty hilarious. He looks like a drowned rat.

I don't even think he looks like a dog here. But I still love him ♥

I wish I could just nap while people moved for me :) Passed.Out.

Probably my favorite thing about him next to his ewok face? His crooked little teeth.
