In just a few weeks I will be vacationing in Nashville, Tennessee with my cousin for the CMA Festival–we are SO pumped to see some of our favorite artists perform! A lot of people find it odd and/or amusing that I’m into country music. I’d say its a guilty pleasure of mine but the truth is, I don’t feel guilty about it at all, ha! There’s something about country music that’s fun and puts me in a good mood no matter what.

I’ve started a mental checklist of what I want to pack in my suitcase and above are a few things I’ve added. I hear the weather there is crazy humid + hot so bring on the short shorts, tank tops, cowgirl boots–and maybe even a little whiskey for good measure.

Nashvillians, any recs for what to bring/see/do while we’re there? The festival is later in the day each night so we will have some free time to explore, so I’d love to know. I’ve already got a little visit to these birds in the works.

I’m so glad Spring is finally here because it means I can break out my pastel wardrobe again. All of my favorite trends like soft colors, floral patterns, wedges and suede flats are all back. I rounded up some of my favorite shoes I’ve seen around lately. Which ones are your favorite?

Being born an August baby makes me birthstone Peridot (ew). My younger sister was born in April which meant hers was Diamond and I remember being soooo jealous. Haha! Typically I’m more of a vintage or handmade kind of girl when it comes to jewelry but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t mind any of these shiny pretties adorning my jewelry box.

I’ve had the same purse from h&m for a while now, and I’m on the hunt for something new + fresh. Not too big, because I’ve found having a large purse equals carrying large quantities of crap I don’t need to be lugging around. And I tend to lose my keys on the daily in there.
