Glenn & I launched a few new projects for some fantastic clients this week. We’ve been using a new work flow system which has helped our team productivity GREATLY {I’ll share those tips in another post}.
We’re wrapping up a few loose ends and are available to add your project to our schedule. If you’re looking for a blog/site design, need a new logo or fresh branding, let me know. You can also see more work right here. We’d love to dream up a new look for you.
I mentioned last week how Glenn and I were brainstorming ways to be more efficient freelancers and better organized in general. Well I’m happy to report that our fresh ideas have been paying off and we wrapped up one of our projects for our client Charmingly Modern.
I had fun using watercolor + fabric textures & an earthy color palette to come up with her new look. Be sure to stop by Amanda’s space to say hello!

As a blogger + designer, I’m often making collages–whether it be for a client mood board or a blog post {like this for example}. After struggling to find a good template resource I decided to just make my own. As a special treat, I’ve decided to share two of them with you as a free download.
There are two varying templates and instructions are included in the file. Also, let me know if this is something you’d like to see more of around here and any suggestions for future goodies. I hope you guys enjoy!

With December making its debut tomorrow I thought I’d whip up a simple little treat for your screens. The quote was inspired by the ever-awesome tv show, Game of Thrones. Who else can’t wait until April?!
Over the weekend I got hit with some sudden inspiration and if there’s anything I’ve learned in my time as a designer its that times like these are rare and should not be squandered. I decided to make a few subtle changes to my current blog theme which include a new color palette, typography choices and updated sidebar. It’s the first step {of many} towards my re-brand transition.
It’s funny because I wouldn’t say pink is normally a favorite color of mine but I’ve noticed various tones of it have been a consistent trend in my design choices for myself {especially this rosy color which is close to what I had before}. Weird!
Anyway, I hope you guys like the fresh changes. I’ve said it before, but its SO hard designing for yourself. At least for me. I feel like I’m constantly changing my mind and wanting to tweak little things here and there so I just went for it. Thanks for sticking around and reading!
