Bowling is for Lovers
Last weekend we went out with some friends to our local bowling alley. It was packed and sort of expensive {$40 an hour!} but we had a great time nonetheless. The cheesy retro decor & Glo-Bowl segment of the night made me feel like we were straight outta The Big Lebowski.
The best part? I beat Glenn’s score! Both rounds actually, but who’s counting? ;)
This means I get to cross off another item from my Adventure Guide: “Beat Glenn in a game of anything.” Thankfully, he’s not a sore loser & was actually a good sport about it. Love you, babe.

$40 an hour?! Holy cow. Your bowling ball better be diamond encrusted or something. I am the worst bowler in the history of bowling. I’m really good for the first two frames then i hold the world record for consecutive number of gutter balls. But I still like it.
I have bowling on my 101 in 1001 – who knew it’s gotten so expensive!
bowling is so fun!! we rarely go, but i do love it. i should make an adventure guide.. it’s so inspiring!
I’ve only been bowling once – for a birthday party in the 7th grade. I was the worse! I bet it would make for a fun and interesting date night :)
i was glow in the dark bowling last weekend too (as i think you saw from instagram) isn’t it so fun? i felt like i was in high school again! we used to go all the time.
Bahah awesome! I think bowling is a loooooot bigger in the States than it is in Canada. I haven’t been bowling in a few years, and the last time I went I just sat and drank instead of playing, ha! But go you for winning! & crossing an item off your list! I’m loving these posts on your adventure list.

92?! I’m super impressed!! I usually get like a 45, at best. It’s embarrassing for pretty much everyone around me. I’m a BIG fan of playing with bumpers hahah
