It seems like every day I wake up and someone I know is pregnant. Srsly.
But, I'm not complaining. I LOVE babies. And I'm so happy that so many of my friends are welcoming sweet bundles of joy into their lives for me to play Auntie Liz to.
My best friends Ashley & Jordan just recently had such a miracle. They kept me updated on her labor via text & Rainier DeForest Gray made his grand debut on New Year's Eve. A couple days after they came home I finally got to meet him.
I've honestly never seen such a perfect baby. He is the spitting image of his father and has the longest of legs just like his mommy. I love him so much already. It's equally as neat to witness two of my favorite people in the world become parents. I'm so proud of them.
Rainier is also the first newborn I've held this year, which makes him the first thing I can {halfway} cross off my Adventure Guide. Hooray!
Tonight, Ashlee & I are going over to see the Gray's so she can meet mister Rainier next. I may or may not have to fight her for him first ;)

Oh man, I totally know what you mean about baby fever. As you said, seems like everyone and their mother (haha) is having one. Some of my friends from high school are on their second kid, and they’re younger than I am! So bizarre. Congrats to your friends, Rainier is an adorable kid!

And this is why I’m not allowed to hold babies, because the minute I do I WANT one!

You are so right about waking up and someone new being pregnant. It’s been happening A LOT and though I don’t think I could handle having a baby of my own for a few more years they are so damn cute. Rainier is so handsome!

I am in total baby fever mode. And I haven’t even really held any! Just seeing newborn pictures on facebook makes want to have a baby to put adorable hats on them and take pictures! And decorate the room of course….. ;)

Aww, what a cute baby! I love your adventure list. I just posted a 27 Before 27 list, and am already making plans on how to finish everything.

oh god, tell me about it! babies or engagements…it’s one or the other lately, they’re everywhere!! but yes, it IS a good thing! because that way you can have the best of both worlds and hold and cuddle the heck out of the little cutie then when he gets fussy, give him back to his parents ;)

Aweee I simply can’t wait for my friends and I to reach the (appropriate! Haha) age to get married and have babies, it’s going to be so much fun!

Seriously, every blogger these days seems to be popping out kids! It’s great, but it’s like, Is there something in the water?
But I love that name! Rainier! So unique and cool.
