Last week I attended a terrarium workshop my gal pal Monica and her bff Olga hosted. It was a magical evening filled with friends, sangria, delicious treats & earthy goodness! Here’s a peek at all the fun;

I found the perfect spot to hang my little guy–right next to the kitchen windowsill. He seems happy there.

All he needs is a little woodland creature or mushroom friend & he will be complete! The cactus inside is already starting to flower. Of course I picked a plant that thrives on lack of water. This greatly increases my terrarium’s chance of survival :)
Be on the lookout for the next Scraps & Sh!t workshop. They’re a great way to get crafty & make new friends.

This reminds me of when my friends & I used to have “Craft Nights”… i miss those days! PS: Do you have instructions for the DIY Terrarium? Been wanting to do something like this lately!
oh it turned out so cute! what a great craft idea.
@Lauren from Texas – Here’s the link I forgot to include from Ashlee’s post; http://www.thefernandmossery.com/2009/04/how-to-make-terrarium-materials-and.html

You ladies know how to do it up RIGHT. That seriously looks like sooo much fun! I wish we had something like that in south Florida. Hmm, maybe it’s time to make it happen?
How lovely! I did that with some friends a few months ago — it was a super fun time. :)

So now you are going to teach me how to make one, right?!

That is SO MUCH FUN! I want to make one! I would totally need a cactus too because I tend to kill pretty green things, which is very sad.
Terrariums!! So cute!!!! I really want to have little ones with succulents as table decorations at our wedding. Sounds so dreamy to me.

What an awesome party idea and it looks really fun! I’m afraid, even with a cactus, I would’ve killed my terrarium by now.

I saw these photos on Ashlee’s blog and it looked like SO much fun! It looks great hanging there.
This looks like so much fun! I’m always looking for an excuse to get together with girlfriends and this looks way better than spending a ton of money on a fancy dinner. Also Liz, you look absolutely gorgeous! Love your pretty off-the-shoulder dress, too. xo
Cute!
