Weekend Scrapbook 7.26.10

This past weekend FELT like a weekend, don’t you love that? It was equal parts lazy & productive and I relished every second of it. Here’s a few snapshots of what mister and I were up to…

Our lunch on Saturday, which consisted of pizza leftovers, tall can chelada and Guinness float. Yes, that’s beer & vanilla ice cream. I tasted it & didn’t really like it but G did.

Got my hands on a pair of black saltwater sandals I’ve been lusting over. I still want them in white & pink too, though.

Friday night my sisters came over with Wii Sports Resort. Everybody beat my scores :(

Mister & I got a little tipsy and had a silly photoshoot in the bathroom.

We are dorks ♥

He also likes to take photos of himself with my phone. Ha.

Sunday morning I was craving fruit so bad; so mister ran out to Trader Joe’s and came back with apples, strawberries, mango + vanilla yogurt. Yum yum! {my vintage canisters I ordered from Etsy finally came in and make an appearance in the background there}.

The rest of the weekend was spent napping in our glorious cloud aka bed, making budgets/to-do lists; cleaning & organizing in preparation for Chelsea’s visit this weekend for Renegade & adventures. Fun week ahead! How was your weekend?

James definitely likes the float a lot more than I do!

  • Comment from Janie

Don’t think I’d be keen on beer and ice cream either but I’m sure the boys in my life would become instant fans – must suggest this to them sometime!

  • Comment from Krysten

You two are so cute, you make me smile.

And a beer float? Yeah, I’ll stick with root beer thanks!

Omg I LOVE cheladas, the ones in the can and also homemade. Ryan always fake gags when I drink them but they’re SO yum. I call ‘em “red beers” :)

Those sandals are super cute! Are they comfy?? I guess 10 year old me has some catching up to do!

Aaaaand we totally take tipsy pics too. They’re always the best kind.

Hi, if you could pass me that Chelada through the computer, that would be greeeeat. It’s probably (OK, definitely) one of my fave drinks.

Saltwater Sandals are the best! I’ve got a red pair and pretty much wear them ALL the time. And, like you, kind of want to get them in every color :) They’re so inexpensive and look so adorable. Glad to hear you had a great weekend!

I love my Saltwater sandals! I have them in the light brownish color, I want them in black too! The only place that sold them here in Fresno doesn’t anymore… I guess I gotta find em online?

And you two are cute! me and the boyf have spontaneous bathroom photo sessions too. Usually when we are -ahem- under the influence…
