12 Things in 2012
Do you guys know about Kara? She’s pretty awesome and writes an equally awesome blog with inspiring posts such as this. I decided to borrow her idea and list out twelve little things I’ve learned so far in 2012. 01// That the only person that can truly get in the way of your happiness is you.
02// That procrastination is the easy way out and once you just START something it’s usually enough to keep you going until you finish.
03// That relationships are hard work.
04// That watching videos of animals doing silly things makes me really happy.
05// That even after so many burned/re-built bridges, cat fights & tears–I still have some of the best friends in the world and they’ve all had a hand in shaping the kind of person I am today.
06// That try as I might, cannot tolerate the taste of whiskey.
07// That it’s okay to do absolutely nothing all day sometimes, and not feel guilty about it.
08// That I hate folding/putting away clean laundry and even though I yell at myself every single morning rummaging through piles of clean clothes on my futon…there it still sits.
09// That I’m pretty resilient.
10// That growing out my bangs is the way to go.
11// That getting up early and doing my hair + makeup really does make a difference.
12// That at the end of the day, you just have to silence all of the outside opinions and do what YOU feel is right. Because we’re all different but we’re all in it together.
