Wine, Oh!

It's no secret I love me some wine; a popular question I often get asked is which kinds are my favorite. I'm constantly trying out new wines--I try to choose a new blend or vineyard when I make a trip to my local Trader Joe's, but the ones pictured above are some of my absolute favorites and make regular appearances on my nightstand kitchen counter.

Bowling is for Lovers

Last weekend we went out with some friends to our local bowling alley. It was packed and sort of expensive {$40 an hour!} but we had a great time nonetheless. The cheesy retro decor & Glo-Bowl segment of the night made me feel like we were straight outta The Big Lebowski.

The best part? I beat Glenn's score! Both rounds actually, but who's counting? ;)

This means I get to cross off another item from my Adventure Guide: "Beat Glenn in a game of anything." Thankfully, he's not a sore loser & was actually a good sport about it. Love you, babe.

Chambray & Cashmere

This outfit made me feel like some sort of badass safari explorer. I wore it last Saturday when the beau & I romped around midtown running errands and trying out a new burger joint for lunch.

Glenn always makes fun of how cold my fingers & toes always are, but those socks, lemme tell ya...SO warm and comfy! I don't own very many cashmere items but now I'm in love and you'll find it very difficult to pry these pretties off my feet this season. No one likes a girl with smelly feet though so I'm forced to add them to the laundry pile a lot. Good thing I have a furry creature aka Walter to snuggle up and get cozy with while my socks are in the wash! Speaking of Walter, we REALLY want another Brussels Griffon but are having no luck finding any. Humph. I want a little sister for him!

Can we talk about that necklace for a second? Lexy was sweet enough to send it to me a few months back. Its so teeny & awesome; I adore it.

Today, Glenn & I are working on PizzaCupcakes stuff & nerding out on things like typekit. I'm excited!
